This is the part where I’m supposed to tell you who I am and what I do in a few short words….

….except, I can’t!

A multi-passionate, mission-led person, I am best-described by whatever passion-project I currently have my teeth into.

A woman sitting on a grassy hill overlooking a farm with cows grazing, with a landscape of fields, trees, and water in the distance.

But if I had to pick a few words to describe myself, then I would say….

…I am a lifelong sophophile, writer of non-fiction and gatherer of women’s stories; qualitative researcher, multidisciplinary thinker and prolific reader; lover of history, myth, food, nature and animals; seeker of elemental enchantment, mountain-top views and watery edges; people-watcher and shameless coffee-shop eavesdropper; endlessly fascinated by how we are all shaped by the stories we carry, inherit and tell.

My background: the things that have shaped me

Green fern plant growing on forest floor with brown soil and pine needles.
  • Are you a writer, artist, or creative drawn to exploring the deeper layers of culture, identity, or story—but not sure where to begin?

  • Are you curious about oral history, social research, or the stories we carry—and how to explore them in a thoughtful, grounded way?

I’d love to support you

  • I work with individuals and groups who want to root their work in rich, meaningful research without losing the soul of their creative practice.

  • I also offer talks and workshops on the role of Story in shaping our lives, as well speaking on the stories, systems and histories that have shaped women of Ireland.
